Adranos designs, tests, and produces rocket motors utilizing ALITEC, the highest performing solid rocket fuel in the world. ALITEC dramatically increases the range and payload capacity of various launch systems, including missiles, hypersonics, space launch platforms, and various other systems utilizing solid propellant.

Adranos is seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Technician to support its metal powder fuel research, development, and production efforts. This position would be involved in all aspects of Adranos’s powder production, focusing on quality, safety, and efficiency. The role will be responsible for the entire process, including, but not limited to, materials handling, equipment operation, quality control, and delivery of the final product.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, and ship materials and products
  • Manage inventory, including tracking materials, consumables, and spare parts
  • Prepare material and equipment for process runs
  • Follow procedures to operate large and complex equipment
  • Adhere to safe practices, while identifying and implementing improvements, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel
  • Perform preventative equipment maintenance
  • Measure and record technical data from analytical tools
  • Perform other tasks, as required by the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance
  • 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory, and quality control
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience repairing equipment
  • Proficient with computer applications
  • Fully vaccinated from COVID-19

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a fast pace, medium to heavy duty assembly, technical environment
  • Fit enough to deal with regular stair climbing, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, and standing for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting at least 25 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling
