Marketing Research Intern

Essential Functions 

  • Survey archives for patents and other materials of historic significance that can be repurposed for marketing.
  • Research and compile potential Reasons to Believe and other compelling facts, metrics, and proof points about PRF, the Purdue ecosystem, and themes highlighted in upcoming campaigns.
  • Conduct and document research and interviews with strategic stakeholders.
  • Assist with content selection for social media, blog, newsletters, and other marketing channels based on interviews, research, and outreach.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Archive, add metadata tabs, and organize files in appropriate content management systems.


  • Knowledge of social media or email marketing strategy and best practices preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask projects.
  • High degree of confidentiality required.


  • HS Diploma/GED equivalent required.
  • Degree in progress in information studies, library tech, data research, marketing, or a related field.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.

The rate for this position is $14.00/hour and will work 10-15 hours/week.
