Concordance Health Solutions is a startup company developing products and data services to improve patient medication adherence. Our products include electronic reminder and monitoring technologies that are simple, inexpensive and incorporate feedback loops to patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners with a goal of facilitating optimal medication adherence, and ultimately, better health outcomes.

Concordance has an opening for an intern who will provide assistance and encouragement to Smart Med Reminder system users in order to obtain best health outcomes. ( Concordance provides innovative work, focused on accomplishing projects through a culture of strong team collaboration. The company is in the Purdue Research Park.

Job description

The Customer Support Specialist Intern will assist the Customer Support Manager with activities performed within the Concordance customer support division. Through data analytics and communication, the Intern will assist Smart Med Reminder users for optimal medication adherence. The Intern will also build Excel reports for current customers and the business development team. Position would be part-time.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

● Pull current data from SmartMedReminder database regarding user behavior to formulate support strategies

● Communicate reminders, technical information and positive reinforcements to users

● Maintain the accuracy of Customer Support information in data repositories

● Develop and research impactful improvements in operational processes or data collection

● Communicate, validate and explain analysis to internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience

● Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or a Data Analytics related field

● Strong computer skills (Google Drive Sheets, MS Excel, Graphing, PowerPoint, Access)

● Strong data analytical skills

Minimum Qualifications

● Current College Student, preferably upcoming Junior or Senior

● True interest in promoting patients’ best health through better medication adherence

● Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams

● Ability to communicate and conduct research into software-related issues and products

● Keen attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

● Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
