Curia provides global contract research services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. 

The Laboratory Assistant is an integral part of the team, contributing to our success by assisting Scientists and Managers with a variety of duties to efficiently utilize equipment, supplies, and resources.  The Laboratory Technician is expected to demonstrate competency in many aspects of practical chemistry and provide significant assistance with a variety of tasks throughout the site.  A major component of the Laboratory Technician's performance rating will be based on efficiency, productivity, teamwork, and cooperation.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform daily accuracy verification of analytical balances. 
  • Assist with chemical and consumable inventory and ordering.
  • Routinely order and stock the general storeroom and other general supply areas throughout the building
  • Assist with copying notebooks and other documents as needed, and review of all electronic copies for completeness
  • Assist with preparation, transport, clean-up, and disposal of samples and solutions.
  • Maintain laboratory glassware throughout the building and equipment store room.
  • Assist with general laboratory maintenance and housekeeping as assigned.
  • Assist EHS group in disposal of chemicals, waste, and additional cleaning and/or maintenance of laboratory areas.  Follow responsible actions regarding chemical disposal. 


  • Associates degree with course work in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Science preferred, OR High School diploma with equivalent industrial experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMP or other regulated environment preferred
  • Other pertinent training/courses
