Job Summary:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the inventory in the ERP system (SAP) by recording transactions in a precise and timely fashion. The Inventory Specialist will also generate, fill and complete work orders (kitting) and assist with shipping and receiving.


  • Perform periodic physical inventories and/ or maintain accurate cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reporting  
  • Assist with work order kitting and tracking
  • Assist with receiving of inventory and non-inventory items
  • Assist with shipping of products and assets
  • Perform any other task/duties as assigned by management




  • High school education
  • Experience in inventory control, procurement, shipping & receiving, or related.
  • Computer proficient with data entry or order entry experience
  • Ability to become HAZMAT certified within the first year of employment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings, BOMs and electrical schematics   
  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce


  • Additional education in computers helpful
  • Knowledge of manufacturing shipping and receiving
  • Knowledge of SAP receiving
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds (the approximate weight of a Griffin G510)
