Immunohistochemistry Technician - Biology Research Associate

On Target Laboratories (OTL), a leading targeted surgical imaging and therapeutic company, is seeking an accomplished person for its immunohistochemistry lab. Responsibilities include slide preparation (paraffin and frozen sections), IHC staining using a manual system, antibody titer preparation, equipment maintenance, supply/reagent inventory maintenance, and experimental recording. The candidate will be expected to develop IHC staining assays for multiple biomarkers to stain various cancer tissue samples (human) using the manual system. Leadership abilities are preferred.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years Histology experience with at least 1-2 years immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence or in situ hybridization experience. Working knowledge of IHC theory required and hands-on IHC performance desired. Experience in cancer cell culture techniques and animal studies a plus.  B.S. or equivalent in biochemistry or biology is required.
