Essential Functions   

  • Work between end users and vendor to maintain and support information technology systems. 
  • Perform general application support tasks and work within technical processes to document requirements and implement change.
  • Set objectives and work independently on large, moderately complex technical projects or assignments under general supervision.
  • Implement minor changes in systems and process to solve problems or improve effectiveness of area. 
  • Communicate with parties within and outside area to influence others regarding facts, policies and practices. 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide training to staff on the use of Purdue for Life supported applications.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Purdue for Life supported applications and/or departmental procedures.
  • Acquire, evaluate, audit, record, and report data, utilizing automated processing when appropriate.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals or support employees.


  • Proficiency in development organization end-user requirements and system capabilities.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to use tact, sound judgment, diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion.
  • Motivated, adaptable team player with the ability to work well with others in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Regular and reliable attendance are requirements of this position.


  • Associate’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience at Purdue University or development experience preferred.
