Director of IT Delivery and End User Experience

The Director of IT Delivery and End User Experience will be looked to as a key contributor delivering technology solutions to meet end user needs.  Working at the mission-driven Purdue for Life Foundation and leveraging best-in-class Salesforce technologies, this role will enable functionality and services to support success.

Essential Functions

  • Work between business partners and IT teams to gather requirements and assess usability of solutions, including but not limited to, reporting and analytics dashboards, CRM functionality, web offerings, and mobile solutions.
  • Lead IT projects, from project assessment through execution and closure, ensuring quality and that the end products meet business partner needs.  Could complete deliverables when skill sets align.
  • Drive project and delivery processes to optimize speed of delivery of IT solutions.  Support for governance processes and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Become a subject matter expert for a selected set of IT solutions and associated business rules.
  • Drive and/or support training of technology offerings and supporting documentation. 


  • Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users.
  • Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment.  Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology.
  • Ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions with end users, defining business needs to ensure right-sized technical solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of data storage, reporting and analytics concepts, within Higher Ed Advancement preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. 


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-10 years’ experience minimum
  • Experience working in information technology project leadership and/or personnel leadership required. 
  • Experience working in higher education and or advancement preferred. 
  • Experience working with Salesforce product sets preferred.
