Embedded Systems Engineer

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer who shares this commitment. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop firmware and software for embedded systems
  • Design and execute test plans for creatively and thoroughly testing firmware products
  • Debug and maintain existing software/firmware
  • Maintain code in a repository using tools like Git
  • Collaborate closely with the team to meet product release deadlines

REQUIRMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent, preferably with years of hands-on experience of embedded systems development and testing
  • Excellent programming and testing skills in C/C++
  • Experience in Linux and embedded, real time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS)
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge embedded programming tools and methods
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

WHAT GIVES YOU THE EDGE OVER OTHERS:

  • 2+ years of industrial experience in developing reliable embedded systems
  • Unix shell scripting or Python scripting for testing automation
  • Familiarity with agile practices such as Scrum and Test Driven Development
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, Github
