Student Marketing Assistant - Purdue Center for Cancer Research

  • Attend events and meetings as required, assisting development team with documentation and follow up of events.
  • Assist in preparation for events, including but not limited to participation in creating and contributing to event marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in promoting events through social media.
  • Meet with student groups to promote Center engagement.
  • Assist with prospect development and new marketing ideas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Description of Experience:

  • Must possess, independent working skills, good organizational skills, communication skills and ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Must have general knowledge of Purdue University.
  • Must have previous customer service experience.
  • Must present a well-mannered, professional image.
  • Must be able to work some evenings and potential weekends as needed.
  • Must have the ability to identify and determine problems, analyze information and implement solutions.


Hourly Rate: $8.50

Hours per week: 8-12
